David W. Orr Is the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics and Senior Adviser to the President, Oberlin College. He is the author of seven books, including Down to the Wire: Confronting Climate Collapse (Oxford, 2009) and co-editor of three others.

Currently he a Trustee of the Bioneers, Alliance for Sustainable Colorado, and the WorldWatch Institute. Wipro earthian invited David to India in August 2012- David addressed the audience at “Wipro-earthian series on Sustainability and Education”. He spoke about eco-challenges of 21st century concerning sustainability and development.
